mountain is the path and the trajectory. what’s understanding and processual of every moment. both tree and wall, looks for shapes. a line that is organized by dimensions and wingspan, vertices. mountain is the trail and the route.
the action consists of writing the mountain letter with japan ink on a roll of rice paper. while the audience walks through the rooms of the house where the exhibition is happening, i write quietly on the corner of one of these rooms. when i start writing on the back, the thin paper makes the text on each side intermingle. added to the ink that sometimes smudges, handwritten, reading is obstructed.
